Hello, and welcome to The Life I Now Live. My name is Neal Embry. I was raised in Birmingham, Alabama, and am currently attending New Orleans Baptist Theological Seminary (Birmingham extension center), pursuing a M. Div. in Biblical Studies. I love Jesus, teaching the Bible, and Braves baseball.  I currently serve at Lakeside Baptist Church in a lay position, leading the Young Professionals Ministry.

When I began my undergraduate career at the University of Montevallo in the fall of 2009, I did not know Jesus. I had been baptized, and had grown up in church, but I had never experienced salvation and did not have a relationship with the Lord. But God made Himself known to me through godly men and women at Montevallo, and God saved me. He led me to trust Jesus to forgive me of my sins and to help me follow Him as the Lord of my life. Since then, I have failed Him a lot, but He has never failed me, and He will continue to be faithful.

I want to use the gifts of writing and teaching to help you grow in your relationship with Jesus, and if you don’t know Jesus, to tell you how great Jesus is so you can come to know Him as your Lord and Savior.
